Our Ministries

  • Super Seniors

Our Super Seniors at Moon's Grove are men and women who enjoy a monthly "outing" for fun, food, and fellowship. There are no age requirements as such; ages range from the 60's to "ready to go home." Our travels on the third Tuesday of each month, are usually limited to an hour or less drive to one of our favorite restaurants where we enjoy each other's company as we feast.

  • Ladies Fellowship

Ladies Fellowship meets monthly on the first Tuesday at 10:00 am in the Family Life Center. We are ladies from Moon’s Grove and the community who enjoy brunch and fellowship together followed by Bible study and a time of silent and spoken prayers around our tables. We often join efforts to meet needs of which our members are aware.

Ann Cass is the teacher and Brenda Smith coordinates the schedule. Come join us as we grow.

Other Ministries

  • Dinner starts at 6:00p and most weeks everyone chips in to help with the meal. The church provides the main dish. Come join us!

  • Men’s and Women’s Bible studies on Wednesday nights following supper. Studies start @6:30. Ladies study led by Beverly Chandler and the men’s study is led by Pastor Tracey.

  • Here at Moon’s Grove the WMU includes Mission Friends, Kids on Mission, and Acteens. WMU comes alongside believers to help accomplish the mission of God. WMU provides relevant resources for all ages to help people learn to about and pray for missions and also creates opportunities for giving, serving and supporting missions.

  • In Mission Friends, preschoolers from birth through kindergarten move from focus on self to a focus on others. Through engaging lessons and activities, they begin to learn how they can help others and share God’s love. This critical foundation in the lives of preschoolers will help them grow spiritually into the next generation of Christ followers who will fulfill His Great Commission.

Mission Friends meetings include activities in music, art, blocks, nature, home living and more. Creative games and mission stories are included to help establish missions awareness and involvement. We also have opportunities for parents to continue mission discipleship at home, because a family that serves together changes the lives they touch, as well as their own. We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in the Ark.

  • Kids on Mission is a coed group designed for boys and girls to come to faith in Christ as Savior while making missions an important part of their daily lives. They learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle while participating in Bible studies, mission projects and engaging activities. They also have a lot of fun as they “travel” to various places around the world when they learn about and pray for the work of missionaries.

The Kids on Missions motto is “Send Me!” and Kids on Mission do just that. They are sent to serve others and practice what they’re learning through hands-on mission opportunities. Their experiences lead to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission and His church. We meet every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in the Family Life Center.

  • Students! join us after Wednesday night supper for the Youth Ministry’s Bible Study and Games.
